The 9/11 Memorial at the site of the World Trade Center will open to family members on September 11th and to the general public on September 12th. Nearly 3,000 names of those who were lost on that day, and in the 1993 bombing, are engraved on bronze parapets around cascading waterfalls. A new 9/11 Memorial Guide iPhone app helps locate each name.
