University of Cincinnati researchers have discovered a new way to collect data and record archaeological discoveries.
Teams of archaeologists from the University have spent more than a decade excavating one of the busiest gates at Pompeii, the Port of Stabia. The project is compiling archaeological analysis of homes, shops, and businesses at the forgotten area inside the gate.

Starbucks is rolling out a new mobile app for Android users. The app is designed to help manage the Starbucks Card-on-the-go. Starbucks already has in place a mobile payment program that is used by My Starbucks Rewards customers on other platforms. By adding the Android app the company is expanding their reach to 90 percent of the smartphones currently in use. They will also be expanding the mobile payment capabilities to roughly 1,000 Starbucks Safeway locations throughout the country.

Due to connectivity issues, Apple has issued a limited recall of Verizon iPad 2 units.
"Duplicate MEID codes were flashed onto an extremely small number of iPad units for the Verizon 3G network," an Apple spokeswoman told Reuters, which explains "MEID, which stands for mobile equipment identifier, is a unique number that is used to identify a mobile device when it connects to the network. Two devices cannot have the same MEIDcode."

Pharmacists spend most of their day filling scripts and counting pills. Often times they seem rushed and have very little time for a customer’s questions. That may change with the implementation of a robotic pill dispenser capable of filling 5,000 scripts a day.
