First Grader Gets Technological with Toast

7-year-old Connor Zamary of Youngtown, Ohio loves spreading butter, jam, preserves, and a variety of other toppings on his toast for breakfast. He decided to turn that passion into profit by creating the Toaster Pop™ app for the iPhone® and iPod Touch®.

"I hope lots of people enjoy my app," Connor says. "It's a lot of fun." Craig Zamary, Connor's dad, adds, "With kids constantly 'borrowing' our devices, it's nice to know there is a truly kid-friendly game for them to play."

Described as "a fun and addictive game of speed and skill", Toaster Pop was created almost entirely by Connor himself. He designed the game, as well as created and pitched his presentation to investors, completely on his own. He was also the one who reviewed the written proposals and eventually chose the app's developer.

One aspect of the business that Connor can't control is email correspondence, as his parents won't allow him to have his own email address yet. For now, he uses his dad's email account.

Toaster Pop is available for download in the App Store for $0.99, but be on the lookout for Toaster Pop 2.0 which will include the elusive Golden Toast.
